St Heliers Heavy Horse Heritage Field Day

To comply with insurance requirements all competitors must sign an Indemnity Form before competing. It is recommended that all horses be covered by Third Party Insurance. NO DOGS ALLOWED.

Bring the kids and see how they did it in Granddad's day.............

The horses compete in show ring classes, ploughing, log snigging, pumpkin snatch, slide and vehicle obstacle courses. Great entertainment assured for competitors and spectators alike! On Sunday there will be an all breeds foal show with a parade of historical horse drawn vehicles and implements.

Refreshments and hot food available courtesy of Muswellbrook Lions Club.

Numerous stalls displaying equine books, leatherwork, wood turning and other crafts.

Entry fee: Gold Coin

How to get there:

The Field Days are held at St. Heliers Correctional Centre, located about 10 minutes drive from Muswellbrook. From Muswellbrook head north on the New England Highway. Turn right onto McCullys Gap road then left onto the St. Heliers Road and follow the signs.
